A note from Jarrod..
Yesterday , in a special presentation by the the City Council of Nixon TX., Jennifer and I received the “Key to the City”. It was both very unexpected and quite an honor to both us. We didn’t break any attendance records at The Nixon Feather Fest but we did do what we always strive to do… be kind, be interactive with the people in attendance, be thankful for being there, and put on the best possible show we can. Again, I’ve played hundreds of festivals all over the world and I’d have to think really hard to tell you an event who treated us as well as Nixon Tx. They told us it didn’t actually unlock anything but I can assure you Nixon Tx., it unlocked they key to our hearts!
